风向标—珠吉街家庭综合服务中心开展“了解残障人士，体验先行” 社区宣传活动
为了让辖区居民更好地了解残障人士，对残障人士有一个正确的认识，引起居民对残障人士的关注，2014年6月28日下午，珠吉街家庭综合服务中心在七夕广场开展了“了解残障人士，体验先行”的社区宣传活动。
活动以体验式游戏为主，通过让居民参与体验游戏，亲自感受不同类型的残障人士在日常生活面临的不便与困难，加深居民对残障人士的了解。除体验游戏之外，社工还准备了一份残障知识知多少的宣传单张，让居民了解残障人士的身心特点及与他们交往时的一些注意事项，活动当天社工还链接广州市长泰医院的资源为辖区内的居民开展免费义诊。
本次活动共吸引一百多名居民参与，活动结束后，社工从参与游戏的居民那里了解到，通过游戏，他们体会到每一种残疾类型给残障人士带来不便，生活中应该给予残疾人更多的尊重、理解与关心，同时还要用正常的心态与平等的态度与残障人士交往。
